Spray Paint for Di Acro Machines

Hi There

I posted this earlier on the General Forum to no avail, so I thought I would try it over here since it is sheet metal equipment I am seeking information on.

I am looking to clean up some of my Di Acro equipment. Can anyone provide a Krylon color # or name, or another brand spray color, that would match the older DiAcro sheet metal equipment? (Mine is the light green and yellow/beige color combination.)

I've been doing some machine tool painting recently and have been using Valspar paints from Tractor Supply. They are a far better paint for the money than Krylon. The pigment content in Krylon has been reduced over the years to the point where I'm not sure they should be allowed to sell it as "paint." Valspar is limited to about 18 colors and not all stores carry all colors, but they offer all colors quarts and gals.

Thank's for the lead .... I live in Southern California, near Los Angeles.... I have not seen a Tractor Supply in our area but will certainly keep my eye out for one on our occasional journey's into the surrounding rural and farming areas.

It appears they, Tractor Supply, has not made their way into Southern California yet. All of those stores you have listed are in northern California, a bit of a drive for a few cans of paint.

But I will not let that stop me as my wife and I do travel around some, mostly when we go prospecting, so I am guessing we will eventually run into one of their stores....

Now that I am thinking about it, and not having been in one of their stores but judging by their name alone, it sounds like they are more into gardening and farming implements then True Value, so they may be interested in selling a product I invented that we are just bringing to market. (Its funny how one thing leads to another, so It might behove me to make a point of looking into them).

I entered Sun Valley in their store location search block and that's what came up, but if that's the closest stores then that's what would come up. They have online catalogue shopping but I certainly wouldn't try to select a paint match from a video image. I managed to find very nice Valspar color swatch cards at one store but that was the only one out of 4 or 5 stores I visited that had them.

Valspar is also carried by Lowes. No shortage of their stores out here in SoCal!

thanks again for the tips.... For the record, I have already checked Lowe's, Home Depot, and several Ace True Value hardware stores. I am looking for aerosol cans of spray paint matching, or closely matching, the colors of Di Acro equipment, not quarts of paint... to date, I have not found anything......
