I told Rose there were many of us praying for Dave, and her as well.
And if she could let me know what is going on, great, and if not, I understand.

I wish Dave the best in this fight.

Life is a precious thing and may his fight be fruitful and his fingers on the keyboard bless us further.

I received an email from Rose. Dave's heart was irregular, with doctor's prognosis of a chance of survival not favorable. He was removed from life support and passed away around 12:30 today. His candor is going to be missed.
Rest in peace, good friend.

I'm sorry to hear that Dave will no longer be with us.

I'll miss his insights on multiple topics. He was one of those all-around fix-it guys.

Like his signature said:
"Big Dave, former Millwright, Electrician, Environmental conditioning, and back yard Fixxit guy. Now retired, pursuing boats, trains, and broken relics".

Rest in peace, Dave.

Truly depressing.
Dave & I emailed back & forth a lot, especially the last year or more.
A big heart. I will miss him.

So sorry to read this. It was so sudden, too.

A man's worth is not measured in the riches he obtains but rather by those whose lives he enriches.

The internet has made the world a much smaller place.

I will miss Big Dave, he was always supportive of my work, even when I knew very little, of how things were done.
It is a sad day.
Live for the moment!
Prepare for tomorrow!
Forgive the past!
