OT creative language

For many of us, creating sentences which convey truth are worthy goals. It appears, truth is bypassed and the goal is to use clever wording to influence serious issues. Entire platitudes are introduced into a lie, to make it digestible but it is still a lie. The lie roars on because many haven't gone thru the shrapnel to find the truth.

Sounds like something Washington should learn.

"Falsehood flies, and the Truth comes limping after it; so that when Men come to be undeceiv’d, it is too late; the Jest is over, and the Tale has had its Effect…"
Jonathan Swift
(and you thought he just wrote Gulliver's travels)

At some point their eyes are glazed over, sweating in their eyes. They continue because they can't go back . They are invested in that weapon of falsehood.

17 year locusts emerge but they don't hurt anybody. The ground has been scraped as to allow another strain to rise sooner and we can see the venom. A locust is a pretty creature in comparison.

If you really want to know, there are other avenues. I've been through battles before and not taking sides. Evidence leads one to see.. to see the impact which can hurt you many miles away. This stuff is brewing as we speak and it is serious. I'm not falling for "make it more clear" because that would be slanted and denounced. Only an expression of the times and balance. Btw I haven't heard from cicadas for awhile. I couldn't remember that name. There are some that emerge every few years and they all get together to make sound like an air raid siren.
Lets say we listen to the cicadas in peace times.

Don't give me question marks. Forget it ever happened but rings true to someone else. I have better things to be done than this. When fellows have an irritation, it is over. Sorry about wasting your time.

I still like a cicada. Mostly red eyes and some are blue. They don't emerge that way. It is a large husk as a beetle. That beetle claws its way through the earth and finds a safe point. It finds a place and transforms within the husk to another creature. OOh ugly dad , smash it but it isn't. You can't smash this evolution away unless all the trees are gone.

I know this is getting silly. There has been years since hoards of them littered the sidewalks. Folks just walked over them and the stains lasted but consider that bug sleeping for near a decade and when it comes out, it is totally different, tree wise. The trees they were programmed to are gone and they tried but are smushed. There is a reason for the cicadas which works into the cycle. The birds love them at first, then they get sick of them. Fish, same way but if we don't have them, certain times, they would starve.
