Consolidation of Messages

I have never used the various forums on this board. I scroll down to "View Recent Messages" and as I usually check in once or twice a day, I tab back for the last 24 hours and as I keep the date and time of the message when I last logged off, it's easy to find that spot and start scrolling forward. I ignore the Gunsmithing, Welding and Live Steam forums unless the post title intrigues me and in no time I am up to date unless I spend time replying to posts and most importantly to me I haven't missed any posts. When I log off I note the date and time of the last post and I am ready to go again next time. To summarize, I am happy with the current system.
