Thanks for posting the pic... it made me dig deeper and find the answer to a question I had asked earlier (how to get a an attachment/pic within the post)...

This is a nice looking brake... what are they worth... I may have to look for one...

That little brake recently sold on eBay - I don't remember what it went for or even if the reserve was met. Went to a auction sale Sat. (school shop closing its doors) and a 24" sold for $475.00 which is about the average for the last dozen 24" I've seen sell. I have seen the 12" bring more but not always.

I've got a DiAcro as well - I think it's 36" - Sweet Machine- I especially like the fact that you can remove the "apron" (or is that "leaf") and bend using the 1/4" surface. I made some "pittsburgh" bends that way. Would not (I don't think) have been possible on a "standard" brake.

Still looking to complete the "fingers" set but I do have most of them.

An older one I guess because of the wooden handles. Looks in good shape. A real cutie is the 6 inch model
