Hopefully the new software will make the moderator's job easier as well. I like the fact the board is moderated. As much as I enjoy rec.crafts.metalworking, much of the bandwidth is noise there.
You can't make everybody happy, but you have my vote to rule with an iron fist.

Yes, strict enforcement is fine with me.
I would even enjoy it if the moderator could change (slightly) the titles on the replys by adding a simple OT(Off Topic) in front of the title when the context does not address the problem, but does not want to insult the contributor by erasing the post.
It would really to great if the conributor did it ! but don't count on it.
