Spark Plug

Has anyone used the NGK ME-8 (1/4-32 threads) in a model engine, and if you have how did it work? Good to see a major plug company making model engine plugs.

The 3/10 John Deere engine kit from Dinky Dears uses the NGK ME-8 plug -- at least that's what my kit came with. While I haven't started working on the engine yet, I did try out the ME-8 plug in my Duclos Odds 'N Ends engine, and it ran just fine.

I like the ME-8 plug much better than the Stitt M-80, appearance-wise. The NGK plug has a neat fluted insulator, and cad plating on the base and terminal, which I think makes it look more authentic.
