Enco 105-1100 Broken Spindle Depth Stop

Post by Oldhenry1 »

This is my first foray into the machining world. I am a complete novice.

I picked up an older Enco 105-1100 locally awhile back.

I didn't notice at the time the casting on the spindle for the depth stop is broken off.

It's pinch bolted on the backside of the spindle but when loosened, it won't clear the larger lower end of the spindle assy.
Hopefully I won't have to completely remove the spindle itself to access it. If that's the case I think I'll leave it as is.

I haven't found a manual online yet and am coming up empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
