I found it best to buy the switches from Grizzly, a little more expensive but they are plug n play and no chance of frying a motor. I have had to replace several since 2004. The switch seems to be the weak link on the 9729. I have replaced my lathe motor with another motor other than the Chinese factory motor. Had to redo the mounting but a much better motor that I bought off eBay. I have had to replace some capacitors and the centrifugal switch contact plate on the mill motor also. I have just replaced the main contractor with a used one I also got off eBay.
