I have the Blueprints. Here is the cylinder all decked out with lettering in a box. Due to the fact I will be printing waxes I will be able to customize the parts to fit the prototype. As pictured, without the box, without lettering, with a small boss that they used to attach a brass plate.

Besides the different types of cylinders, I have blueprints for 3 different styles of crossheads. If you have prototype pictures I can match the model to the style on the prototype.

I've got one assembly drawing of the E type. I'll look at it and see if I has anything good on it that you might need.

Tim,
I might be interested in the Power Reverse castings, depending on the cost.

I forgot to ask:
Tim, you say you are printing wax. Do you use Moldlay or what wax filament do you use, out of curiosity? I don't have a 3D printer yet maybe next year.

here's a picture of the power reverse on my prototype, an ALCO 2-8-2 Mikado. I'm guessing it is an ALCO power reverse but it may not be. My guess it was added some time after the loco was built and initially sold. From what I've been able to determine, appears they moved the air tank to make room for it.
In any case, I'd be interested in your castings for the power reverse (depending on the cost).

Thanks for the picture. That is an ALCO type E power reverse with the early cross head guide.

Does anyone know when Alco came out with the type "G" power reverse gear?

Hi Jerry

The paperwork I have from June, 1919 shows the models D and E power reverse. Then I have type G information with a day of May, 1937.

So some time between those 2 dates.
