1-1/2" scale oil fire door

Here is an oil type fire door for 1-1/2" scale. Investment cast brass. The damper in the bottom is adjustable and can be locked in position with the wing nut. The door is held closed by a wedge on the end of a chain like the prototype. Available only machined and assembled.

Coincidentally, I just started fabricating a similar door assembly for my 90-ton Mikado!
It will mount to the detailed back head I just completed. (A future build article here.) Using steel plate to fab.

We'll see how it all works. It has different dimensions, curves, and details but is functionally the same.
I am building from photos and measurements I took off of a prototype.
