WANTED: 1 1/2" scale 7 1/4" gauge locomotive

Post by AMatthews »

Hi all,

I'm a live steamer in South Australia and looking for a fellow club member who is BC (before computers) for a reasonable 1 1/2" scale steam locomotive of medium to large wheel arrangement, i.e. a Pacific, Hudson,Berkshire or Northern for sale in 7 1/4" gauge preferably. the loco does not need to be immaculate, just a good proven runner. if you have something like this please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. the is a very little in the Australian market as very few locos of this type are made in Australia unfortunately.

Kind Regards,
Andrew Matthews

yeah not the kind of thing my mate is after, too small. if you read my post he's after a tender engine of larger wheel arrangement he already has a smaller locomotive.

Andrew
