Those wheels are the old castings... They still have the 12-spokes in the drivers, which have not been produced since the late 60's/early 70's. Does it also have the one-piece cylinder and saddle casting? If so, that is probably from the mid-60's or earlier. Just curious where this all came from since the castings at least are 45+ years old.

It also might help buyers to know where this is located.

You are correct the project started in the 70s LA live steamers

It's 1 1/2 inch scale, and of he's in California, then it's 7 1/2 inch gauge.
