For sale is an extremely complete set of Fitchburg Northern castings, including all of the recent waterjet and laser cut parts (sections 2A, 5A, 6A, Wire-EDM Stephenson link and block set and the waterjet frames) plus some rare and currently unavailable parts like the bell kit, #34 spot plate and the last Fitchburg Northern wood cab kit to leave Allen Models. It also includes three machined eccentrics + straps with castings for the fourth. The journal boxes are the bronze ones which are also no longer available. The tender castings and trucks are all there, except for the step pockets. There are also castings for a second pair of arch bar trucks that can be used for your first piece of rolling stock, and a few extra castings such as both cast iron and aluminum stack bases and some castings for the traditional frame.

Also note that the steam chest covers do not fit this engine (they are for the Mogul), they will be exchanged for some missing parts for the second set of trucks before delivery.

Pick up or can deliver in Southern California, Central California, SF Bay Area and Reno / Minden, NV area next week. I can also pack into a crate and ship at buyer's expense. The price reflects a good savings over new, plus savings on shipping by either picking up / receiving a delivery or having everything shipped in one crate. There is a lot here and some of it can't be purchased at the moment at any price.

I have acquired the missing pieces for the second set of arch bar trucks from Steve Alley and they are now as complete as the first, with the axles, side frame, missing bolster pedestal etc.

Price reduced to $4,000. Approximately $5,000 value as-new.

What this means is that it will be delivered to a freight dock near you, and the small crate can then be placed in your pickup truck or trailer for you to take home.
