Wanted 2.5" pedistal type journal boxes

Post by FLSTEAM »

I am looking for 8 narrow gauge journal boxes for use with pedestals. These would have been from Conway Locomotive.

For which locomotive? Conway's were pretty simple design. Easy to make from steel bar stock.

These are for 2.5" passenger car trucks and yes I could fabricate them from bar. Just getting lazy in my old age.
There are lots of other parts in the trucks to make also. FUN FUN Fun.

Tom has arch bar type and RMI has only the pedestals. I have the pedestals already.

THanks, JB

Dan
If there is enough metal there it looks like those would work. I emailed them and ask for a drawing.

Thanks JB
