Oil burner for small models

Post by Asteamhead »

Hello, this is Asteamhead from Germany, newcomer in this forum.
Reading the article regarding oil burners with interest, I tried to post some more information. Just recently a friend equipped his 50 3666 loco (7 1/4 ")

with an injector oil burner of the same type which was used in my 44 1167 (5 ") since the 1980s. This had been published in dampfmodell, 1 / 1991. If there is any interest, some pictures and that puplication (in german, sory) are available. I couldn't manage, to add those files to this post, but will try again.
Best regards

Asteamhead,
I have a set of castings for a 2-10-0 K52. The drawings say DRB 52 by JRG designs. Is this the same as your decapod?

Can you point me in the direction of plumbing and air pump kits?

I am also trying to find some drawings to this style of goods wagon used during WW2. Any ideas where I can find it? The one in the picture is in Houston, Tx at the Holocaust Museum.

BR 52 Dampf

Hello johnpenn74,
During I looked for some information, may post was cancled. Thus for short, please enjoy this video!
Looking for more class 52 you wil find life steam models in 7 1/4" scale at "Schackendorf" or "Swiss Vapeur Parc".
At the website of "Dampf-Bahn Club Deutschland" you may find contacts to the builders. One of them comes from England, I'll try to contact him.
No kits for air-pumps available as far as I know, sorry.
