Building a new 1 1/2 scale someone with a wood lathe that can turn up the flanged and dished ends out of any hardwood, so they can be epoxied into.the ends of green pvc Me your snail mail.address, and I can send you a sketch....dimensions are not fussy....using a cardboard template for the radius on the ends is good enough for me....thanks

Hey hoppercar, 3D printing would also work. I'm doing the it for my 1 3/4" scale tank car on 3 1/2" gauge using an 8" PVC pipe. If you're interested, we could work something out.

One of our Kitsap Live Steamers member made a really nice Vanderbilt tender tank for his 1.5" scale Pacific.
The rear domed end of the tender tank was made from a metal Wok cooking pan!
Yes, it had a flat center section several inches in diameter, but the effect was good and making that tank end was relatively simple.
