Ok.
What kind of dressing stick do you use and what do you mean by "dressing stick"? Seems like the term gets applied to everything that is ever used to dress a stone.

Here's an example of a dressing stick for white aluminum oxide (and other)vitrified wheels on a bench grinder.

Re: Dressing Grinding Wheels
I used to use a wheel dresser but switched to an end off a diamond drill bit. The kind used to drill holes in rock for core samples or put in blasting powder. I also sliced up a diamond blade from a walk behind concrete saw to make a lifetime supply of wheel dressers.

I've got a couple of those. I'm guessing when it comes to using them, though.GlennW wrote: ↑Sun Mar 25, 2018 2:26 pm Here's an example of a dressing stick for white aluminum oxide (and other)vitrified wheels on a bench grinder.

Re: Dressing Grinding Wheels
For a bench grinder, I go free hand like I do when sharpening drill bits, use a corner of the stick, and go side to side. I just eye it in straight.
Same for the side of the wheel.
Same for the side of the wheel.
Today's solutions are tomorrow's problems.
