Here's a crossbow I've just finished. At the moment it is slack stringed due to being very difficult to cock. I'll make a cross bow string to make it easier, the string will be under tension unlocked then and very much more powerful. Not sure of the range as I haven't fletched the bolt yet but, it seems quite powerful. Trigger mechanism is allow as are most of the parts except for stirrup, skeleton shoulder stock and wooden stock. No idea what I'll do with it, it's just one of those things I wanted to make.

Some interesting information as well about what these types of weapons were and were not capable of against the types of armor worn during that period.
