Clamp knobs.

Post by elewayne »

These two clamps on the front of my mill are broken and missing. Are these available for purchase in someone’s catalog. I won’t be able to get them from China. Or will I just have to make something.

Check MSC, McMasters, etc, loads of knobs and clamps available, look under the heading of tooling components. You should be able find something that will fit and look acceptable.

There is also JW Winco, for knobs and handles in inch and metric.
as well as tools, they can be a little cheaper but not by much.

If your mill came from China I'd guess that all the fastening and tightening hardware is metric,
I'd check before ordering anything.

I was unable to get photo to load yesterday. They are those little levers with a slotted mounting hole like a faucet handle.
I'll try to post a picture again later. but thanks for the sources.
