Time passes by, and brings with it the good and the bad.

May your time in the shop prove to be enjoyable, meditative and productive.

Grieving is a unique process.

Thanks to all for your kind and caring thoughts.

As an artist has their muse, Anne was my cheerleader. She accompanied me when I went to look at my LeBlond (aka 'Bertha'), and she nudged me along toward rebuilding my shop.

I've been here before -- my wife, Mary Jo, passed in 1996 -- but it doesn't get easier.

If any of you listen to the "good ol" Grateful Dead:"

"I will survive, I will get by."

Thanks, Bill. How's the new house and shop? Fully moved in?

Ed--

The new house is great . . . incredible views. https://youtu.be/2cdeaZM6lmU

The shop has been finished for a long time. But, I haven't had time to do anything in it! My time has been spent thinning out the forest, road work on the mile and a half long driveway, running the backhoe for three neighbors a little over a mile from us and a lot of other things that are involved in owning property. :(

I did make a pin for the implement side of the top link for my tractor. But that's it.

My wife is refinishing various cabinets in the shop. It turns out she's very good at it. I am working on the restoration of another machinist's chest, as well.

Perhaps this winter . . .

Property maintenance is like laundry -- it's never "done!"

Trying to finish some remodeling projects myself, an ever growing list...
