Fwiw a really interesting price verses performance and longevity thread on the PM forums that some here might be interested in. https://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/c ... fe-395670/ Yeah mostly about there use in CNC's, but manual equipment won't be much different other than not having the high rpms they do in aluminum. It might save a fair amount of money not having to do your own testing and getting the most life for the dollars spent if you've got a heavier milling machine.
