They didn't show up because I forgot to add them. Here they are. :)

Nicely done.
Spiffy hunting vehicle. Reminds me of a couple of stories by Patrick McManus.

JackF: I got a notice from the McManus Index that Pat McManus died recently at 84. Loved all his books.

Ok. This thread has gone on long enough and wandered enough that I can no longer resist the urge to offer an answer to the question in the title.

A screwdriver.

Thanks John for that suggestion. As I have plenty of screwdrivers, problem solved.

JackF; Thanks for letting me practice on your 30tpi screws. I had occasion to make another 30tpi for a Lyman 310 Tong Tool expander die. I didn't have to search for how to do it because of your request. Oddly this one was a .400x30-2A. Glad I don't have to make the nut.
Regards,

Do you have 60tpi on the gearbox and can you change some gears to cut the leadscrew speed in half?

Steve
To turn 60tpi into 30 tpi you have to double the speed of the leadscrew.
