Re: Center drilling (More basic questions)
They actually sell a plastic crankshaft which offsets the roll. What's up with TP anyway? It's all hole and less paper than it looks.

Yeah. Good job on that. I thought "crankshaft" would be the trigger
Re: Center drilling (More basic questions)
I think we were very close to a larger hole with more paper. As in carbon paper or polize state monitoring every single input and output and medical system to cull out or re educate the refuzeniks. Then of course every individual's personal data spewed across the world. Uh oh , woulda thought.

Going back to the earlier reference to the Tailstock. Myford (English lathe) refers to the part as the Tailstock barrel.

That's a good name for it. Let's compromise on that.EOsteam wrote:Going back to the earlier reference to the Tailstock. Myford (English lathe) refers to the part as the Tailstock barrel.

Re: Center drilling (More basic questions)
Having spent many years in the East [not the east coast of the US, WAY east in Asia] we do not use toilet paper in my house.
This is best explained by a thought provoking question; if you had excrement on your face, would you wipe it off, or wash it off? and Why?
People's privy habits tend to be fixed from a young age so I expect no one will be taking this at all seriously.
I installed a toilet roll holder anyway.
Toilet roll barrel.
Hmmm. Better than "ram".

I would say, after spending some time in Japan, I would not mind installing a bidet. We would keep the paper too...

Why would there be excrement on your face in the first place?liveaboard wrote: This is best explained by a thought provoking question; if you had excrement on your face, would you wipe it off, or wash it off? and Why?
