Help identifying lathe cutting tool WB34991 R3 AG-10602 Rev

Post by BigBob »

I have been using this tool that came with the MK1.5 Round Head Colchester and the insert broke. The holder is about 3 in long and about 60 degree right and left side angles from tool that comes out center of the holder axially along the holder.

Insert has parallel edges in pocket for carbide with the above point on both ends of the carbide. It has a clamp holding the insert down in the insert pocket from above with two small bolts.

The carbide is supported by another carbide looking material about the same thickness as the insert, but a little shorter, and held in the holder by a screw through its center to the holder bottom.

I have searched the internet, Kennametal and other sources and can not find it. Any ideas or anyone know the above numbers.

I would like to buy more inserts and continue to use this, so any assist would be appreciated.

Regards

Bob
