Nice work. My 17x60 lathe was uncomfortably low for me, so I got some "drops" from a friend to make 6 columns for it. Basically 5" dia x 5" (or so, don't recall) 4140 (fancy! but that's what he said the drops were) spacers under the (roughly) 1.5" leveling adjustment feet. On each one I turned the bottom with slight concave center with ~1/2" lip around the outside to prevent rocking on concrete. The top has a divot sized and shaped to capture the screw foot. Puts it "just right", stable, and it's not going anywhere...
