Has anyone used one of these vises? I have never even heard of them, but a 6" vise with a 9" opening is a nice feature.

Seems like they used to be Parlec a while back.

Glenn is correct, Parlec was bought by Teco.
Vectrax 14x40 lathe, Enco RF-45 clone mill, MillerMatic 180 MIG.
Re: TECO mill vise?
I use the Parlec vise all the time. Except for the name sign, it looks identical to the picture you showed. There is a bit more 'raise up when tightening' than I would like but its nowhere near as bad as demonstrated by some other enco vices that I own. I've never used the expensive, well known name brand so I can't compare it to that one.

Get a Kurt when it's on sale. Bought one and never looked back. Just my 2 cents.

Re: TECO mill vise?
I ordered a 4" import anglelock vise from enco.
What i got was not an anglelock, so I sent it back.
Found a 5" Kurt used on ebay for $180 shipped.
Cleaned and painted, happiness ensued.
