Starting to look like a truck. Bolster castings have not arrived. So after painting the other 2 frames I will have to find something else to work on. Jim

I spent the day at John Boots track. First winter meet in Fla. I was very happy with the results after rolling thru the switch. Going to have to order a cutter for key ways in main axels so will be moving to crank pins for now. Jim

Well plan B didn't workout so plan C. My plan was to chuck crank material on a collet block then in a chuck. But decided to order collet chuck for the 10EE. So roughed out the ecentric strap rod and hand ground and filed to fit tight in eccentric. Then my chuck came in today so had to check it out. No gains today the big dillpress started chewing on its belt which fixing ate up the day. The last two pictures are the proto type of built up eccentric strap rod

Just keep it tight with clamp till you get 1st screw. Then one at a time.
