I remember seeing something regarding this in a back issue of Live Steam from 1978 or so. I think Alan Keef Ltd. was contracted to build the railway and supply the equipment. Can anyone provide more information regarding this?

As far as I know, did Keith Watson from Australia built that railway.
The article can be found in the LS NOV/DEC 1989, page 72.

Cheers!

Sorry, I've made an error. :(
It was the LS NOV/DEC 1998 not 1989.

Back in 1994 I had some nice correspondence by letter (some might remember that way of communication) with Keith Watson.
At that time he was just working on that railway.
The enclosed letter from Keith might be of interests.

Wow, that sounds like a fantastic story! Didn't Keith sell his train business and retire 10 years or so ago? I know there is nothing online about him besides a few mentions in forums like this...

A few years later I met Keith in person during a LIVE STEAM meeting in Switzerland.
But after that I lost contact to him. :(

Cheers!
