Little Toot Railroad

Here’s a cool video! Nice job showing valve adjustments on a 15” Crown loco. They’ve got three 15” ga Crown’s running now! Apparently Crown made 35 locos in 15” gauge! Never knew that before...

Clint used to stop by the shop once in a while when he passed thru the area. Amazingly Jim Adams in the video was age 100 in 2013. He is now 106 and has unfortunately been moved to a nursing home earlier this year. Jim retired off the Illinois Central railroad in 1974 after 33 years of service as a draftsman at their Centralia IL shops. He was also instrumental in getting the Illinois Central 4-8-2 #2500 donated and installed at Fairview Park in Centralia.
