Hi folks. Would there be any interest from the group in having these wheels run in iron?
I'm putting together a large foundry order and could easily include these.
Blue wheel is approx. 7" across flange and 1 1/2" thick.
Black wheel is approx. 9" across flange and 2" thick.
I can easily scale up or down and increase thickness.
Talk to me...
Chris

A little locomotive with 4 wheels on the track is a lot more fun
than a 1/2 finished one with 16 wheels on the bench!

Chris, I think it would be helpful if you could post a price estimate for the wheels... also, some idea of a delivery date is always helpful...
I might be in the market for some.
Thanks,
Glenn

Best, let us know.
BTW: Question- can the spokes be tapered or rounded on the edges? Iammimterested in modeling some WW1, 1915 era British Trench Railway equipment- also a very similar design to English quarry RR cars same era. Those wheels all have curved spokes, similar to your design, maybe with more rounded spokes.

Anything you want Glenn, I can do it. I am quite familiar with the WDLR equipment, but please send me a picture or two to illustrate.Glenn Brooks wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 5:37 pm Best, let us know.
