Unknown Item

Post by Caribou Doug »

All,
I was in the shop cleaning up some rolling stock I purchased last year (work keeps getting in my way!) and came across these tucked under the seat. Can anyone tell me what they are? I placed the brake hose in the picture for a size reference.

Thanks,
Doug

They appear to be pieces of sheet metal waiting to be used on a DIY project
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

I was thinking that they had already been made for a DIY project - just lost in the shop before being used. There's a similar problem in my shop.

The problem with that is after the pieces are gone, their use and need will be revealed...we'll have to make more.

which is why God made magic markers, luggage tags, Tupperware tubs and old olive jars..

Tag everything and if / when the tags are rotten and fall off...is time to recycle the metal into something useful.
