Was this the one you were developing for a ready to run or kit prototype?

Thank you, Jim! The plan was to offer drawings and castings first, then some of the major components machined. Now with the sale to Steve Alley I'm not sure what he will offer.

I think he is going to offer his own version of an 0-4-0 RTR. Maybe he will offer it as a kit too.

Still waiting for Marty with finish drawings and which part number that's needed for use on this Loco. Talk to Marty and question him a lot on how this Locomotive handle the rail. He said it goes faster around corners on two wheels then any Engine should. But good news it stayed on the tracks. Wish I was there! He said he didn't have time to get white knuckles down hill and around corners.

Well what kind of kit form would you guys like.

Once the dust settles around here and I get the inventory complete in the computer and have Pay Pal for you guys to make it ease on you to place orders. Next is the new catalog and web site to overhaul. I am open to offer this as a kit form, as like the others Allen Models kit. I will be offering Machine hard to make parts for the beginner. That is not a full finish Loco but Cylinders and such. Also in the future Laser cut frames, New Locomotives, and cast iron parts that are Aluminum as in domes, base--sand--steam, stacks,and the smoke box. So far the money is flowing out real well, I am taking orders but officially have not open the doors. And for the new costumers that have placed orders-- "Thank You very Much".

That sounds great! That would be the kind of help newbies like me with no machine shop access would need. I can get some help from my cousin who has a lathe but really is not up to speed to do the serious stuff such as machining the parts to get stuff to the point of assembling and getting the chassis running on air. The frame and the rest of the stuff needed to make a complete 0-4-0T does not concern me as much.

I've found that the drawings are more accurate, if you do the build first, then do the drawings!
