I understand your score and screenplay are nominated in the category '
Most Enjoyable Short Documentary' in next years Oscars. This is the best video I've ever watched! Well done!

after looking at the video again:
I have a suggestion regarding reaming of the holes in preparation for rolling.
Getting the chucking reamer started correctly is a bit of a chore as you can see.
BRIDGE REAMERS are much easier to get started and are just fine for rolled tubes.
Well worth the $$$ to have them around.
you can even drive them with a very slow variable speed drill (something with a lot of gearing)....typically the same tool you can drive the TUBE ROLLER with.
Just be careful you don't break your wrist.

I don't understand your suggestion, as I didn't ream the tubes. I reamed the bushings, and did so manually in the mill. Being in the mill, going down into the work, the reamer started quite easily.Bill Shields wrote:after looking at the video again:

I will say, it was a pain in the butt. I either had my hand holding the work, or I was reaching up to the ratchet handle located at the top of the spindle. Joe and I would trade off, as it wasn't possible to do both simultaneously. I sure wish I had a picture of that operation!

My only question is, how dead was the lawn after rinsing out the CLR and was the better half upset?
Hah!
That's some great work, well done.

Your correct, I was stuck on the second video. It has just been one of those days. Thanks for the suggestion!Bill Shields wrote:thought I saw a reamer with a large tap handle on it in the first video....

Thanks. The CLR went back into the containers they came in, so the only stuff that went into the lawn was CLR residual, and Simple Green HD. What killed my lawn was our governor Jerry Brown, and his no-water policies.John_S wrote:My only question is, how dead was the lawn after rinsing out the CLR and was the better half upset?
