The dates for this year's meet will be 1st to 3rd of July. Early arrivals can be arranged with notice.

Delicious meals will be served each day. A menu will be posted here later.

Plenty of room to camp, no hook-ups.

1370 feet of elevated mainline, 3-1/2" & 4-3/4" g.

4,000 feet of 7-1/4" g ground mainline.

Come take advantage of the exchange rate… live steaming for less!
Best regards,
Jim Leggett

Sorry, it's 4929 km too far for me. :)

(I'll be in Ontario in mid May, but have to come home for June...kids & School kind of reasoning...)

I am happy to report that my wife Connie will be returning as head of Food Services for 2016. No one will go home hungry.

President François "Frank" Desaulniers is back as our fearless leader, so no one will go home thirsty either.

Menus to follow in a few weeks…

Looking forward to see you Rob and John. Good times shall be had by all.
Best regards,
Jim Leggett

Here is the official notice sent to clubs. Please pass it along to others you feel may be interested. The more the merrier!
  • Fellow Live Steamers,

We would like to extend a friendly invitation to all members of your club to attend our annual Live Steam Meet. The dates this year are July 1st - 3rd, earlier arrivals and late departures can be accommodated with notice.

Please come and join us for another traditional live steam gathering at our park-like, but privately owned property. There is plenty of room for camping (no hook-ups) and local motels are near by.
There will be plenty of delicious meals, snacks and beverages available from our kitchen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served under a large dining tent.

The 4,000+ foot long, 7-1/4” gauge, ground track has been getting a major overhaul recently with thousands of new ties and fresh ballast. A hydraulic lift and turntable makes for easy unloading to the steaming bays. Electric power, compressed air and water are on hand.

The 1,370-foot long elevated track and 300-foot service siding provide a winding mainline through the trees with several grades and five bridges. A turntable and eleven steaming bays are equipped with electric power, compressed air and water. Rail gauges are 3-1/2" and 4-3/4".

A swap table will be made available and we encourage you to bring projects under construction for display and discussion.

Further information will be available on our website or contact me directly by email.

Thank you for spreading the word about our event and we hope to see you this summer.

    Jim Leggett
    2016 MLS Meet Coordinator
Best regards,
Jim Leggett
