Cast Iron Valve Rings

A friend of mine was wondering if there are any suppliers of cast iron valve rings on this side of the atlantic now that Coles is no longer in business. He is looking for rings that are 1" by 3/32.

These people have cast iron piston rings, 1" diameter by 1/16 by .051 wall.

Diminutive sized rings are not so awfully hard to make.... even gapless ... along with the necessary heat treating. There are many written texts about this in the IC engine world.

I will NEVER make another ring! Had no source... That is if the model isn't a 'close to scale' and the rings needed aren't some odd ball size but that was usually the case building IC engines.

Try the folks at Grove rings up in Milwaukee. You may have a minimum order, etc. but they are very capable and helpful.
