Station, Road, Steam Stafford locomotive

Post by wbarbe »

Has anyone seen one of the StstionRoadSteam 0-4-0 Stafford locomotives running?
Everything I have seen on the web makes it look like a great starter locomotive if someone wants a bolt together kit but I was curious if anyone has actually seen one run?
Thanks

You might have a look at this account, which looks to be generally complimentary of the locomotive, and I've never heard a negative whisper about Station Road. http://www.gentoosjournals.co.uk/

Someone back east has one. I saw it at New Jersey Live Steamers Spring 2017 Meet. It looked nice, but I didn't see it run.

One of the members of the Adirondack Live Steamers in upstate NY owns one. I have seen it a bit, have run it once, and think it is a smart engine. His runs on propane.
