GETTING BACK TO PATTERN MAKING

Post by Trainman4602 »

After a long absence and moving part of the shop I am now getting back to making more patterns.

I have been developing an electric and new and improved 6 wheeled Pullman trucks. These patterns pictured are for the journal boxes and pedestals.

The Pullman trucks will feature a full set of brake rigging that’s to say 2 shoes per wheel.

Hey Dave!! Give us a hint!!! Will you be remaking the venerable Mercer Steeple Cab of old?

Great little engines!! Big enough to be fun yet small enough to haul everywhere.

I still have mine (1607) and I'm sure Long island Dennis (now Central New York Dennis I suppose) still has his! Mine is still circa 1983, but PRT1607 is getting R/C this winter!

That's great!

Any recollection on how many you put together back in the day? I seem to remember there being around 15-16 of these running around.

It would be interesting to see where they all wound up.

No not from me I am making a similar pattern for Iron Horse supply with the agreement that I will not sell them separately. They are to be used for my electric and 6 and 4 wheel passenger trucks.
