Depending on what you need...the small scale guys use Green Velvet's Sapon-A-Max 320 available at: https://www.thetraindepartment.com/stea ... ting-oils/ in manageable size containers.

The problem with Brennen Oil is you can only get it in 5 gallon size. Nothing smaller. I am almost tempted to ask them to be a West Coast Distributor, and package them in 1 gallon size....

5gal is how youre going to find any other steam oil though. Mobil Super 600 and Chevron Cylinder W both come in 5gal as the smallest size. Ive drifted away from Green Velvet myself because of availability issues and ease of replacing with other products.
I do wish their soda grease was still available, I really like it as bearing and gear grease for my shay. Guess I'll have to find a replacement for it too when my current case runs out.

I think Cen-Pe-Co offers Steam Cylinder oil in 2 gallon jugs or 1 gallon bottle.

I sell Green Velvet in quart bottles on the West Coast. I’m currently out and moving the shop at the moment. I’ll have it available again on my website about a month. www.californialocomotive.com

Thank You
