Anybody still supplying the 2 1/2” scale Mich Cal Tee Boiler shay castings? Thanks in advance!

Several of the 20 ton Shay castings can be used to build the Harris Shay.

Having built one of these years ago, The only castings where wheels, Cylinders (Stuart #2), smoke box front and Sand Dome top and bottom. I would recommend using John's castings. Unless you specifically want to build that particular engine I would recommend that you look into John's 20 Ton Shay. John's 20 ton shay has numerous improvements over the Harris Design. (I have been threatening to build one of John's Shay's, I just need to fit more hours in the day first)

From what I have seen of John's 20ton. It will Madea great base . Will need to mod the frame if you want to use the tee boiler but very do able.
If it is not live steam. its not worth it.

I’ve got one already. It’s a great engine but I thought I would build another truck for her. I agree that John’s Shay is a better engine but I already have this one.
