No Rob, no Little Engines castings. For one thing it isn’t 1” scale. It is 3 - 1/2” gauge, but when it was built Lewis Bullock didn’t live near any 4 - 3/4” gauge tracks. So he built it to 7/8” scale to run on 3 - 1/2” gauge tracks! Mr. Bullock always made all of his own patterns and to his own designs. AS a departure from standard LVRR practice, Mr. Bullock built the 2095 with Southern Valve Gear!

If John Pugh's from Klamath/East Coast castings?

There is a set of these castings up for sale currently. But would be a massive project with little documentation. Gorgeous locomotive though!

I believe, (but am not sure) that John fabricated everything except maybe the drivers and a few parts.

Thank you for posting the video. Ironically I've also managed to acquire 2 of those blue riding cars Harry is pulling in this video. They still remain in original condition exactly like you see them in this video.

You are correct. John fabricated most things.

John Pugh and the 5204 on the lower loop at Harry Herder's in 1980. Note how John kneeled in the tender. The upper loop and engine house are in the distance. The railroad will be pulled up a few years later.

This is 1973 on the top loop at Herder's engine house. John's 5204 is on the left. On the right is Harry Herder's oil fired 4-8-2. Harry would soon rebuild it into a coal fired 4-8-4. It runs today at the Illinois Live Steamers.

Mid 70's. John with Fred Hanson about to enter the upper tunnel at Herder's. Here that track looped around Harry's machine shop. Fred had an American at the time. He would later build a Pacific and his own NYC Hudson.

Very nice. It looks so much different without the marker lights.

The last meet at Harry Herders. 1984 I think. Harry passed away in April and his family wanted one more meet before the track was pulled up. Not the best video quality but there are some good guys in it.
