Is there anyone out there with 6 wheel tender, commonwealth truck castings in.1 1/2 scale ??....I may have to revert back to my patternmaking days ??

That's just the side frames.... not as simple as the seller implies!
Look at Little Engines catalog, pg 70.

Dave Bortz did have them and my still have.

Not trying to hijack this, but Curious if you are still working on your CNW locomotive Peter?

Yep. Chassis is running on air and all the boiler plates are cut and prepped for welding. Firebox is welded and is waiting for the mud ring pieces to be welded. Got my tender trucks from Dave several years ago way before I was ready for them. Had the money and I knew I would need them, so I bought them. The tender trucks have been machined and I have the journal boxes machined as well as the wheel & axle sets. Here is a short video of the first time I put air to the chassis.

I have a set of old east coast locomotive 6 wheel commonworth trucks,heavy cast iron cored side frames,currently
7 1/4 machined wheels ball bearings on 1" dia axles , Aluminum journals,no equilazation or correct leaf springs,never really finished ,they have never been on a track .they have correct bolsters swing link. They are very heavy iron, no idea
On shipping or weight at this time,located at 14227 Eden NY if your interested I can dig them out from under the bench and take pictures

Joe, before you sell them or ship them, would you take some pictures of one of those trucks. I have a pair to build and pictures would help a lot.
