Latching Throttle Lever
A friend of mine has a Sweet Creek with an external ball valve for a throttle. He didn't like the plain lever and asked me if I could make something better.
I got a Parker panel mount ball valve with a stainless steel ball and stem and made a latching throttle lever.
I bought a 3/16" rack and we were able to bend it to a 1 1/2" radius by applying heat. The lever is spring loaded, you have to squeeze the latch to move the throttle.
There are stops to keep from going past full closed and full open.

That’s pretty slick Marty.
Where did you get the rack?

Ah...really nice...proving you CAN make things that do not appear to require very artistic welding!
Too many things going on to bother listing them.
