siggy,
I recently purchased a set of castings and a new copy of the Raritan book from Joe....there are more than enough changes and added material to make a purchase of the new version of the book a worthwhile investment.

Is there any date on your Raritan book? Mine has the note on the Contents page 'Revised 1998 J.E.T.' I bought from Joe 6/20/2000 and would be interested in any upgrades that may have been added.
Kind of waiting for Joe Tanski to jump in. He may have another half dozen book sales waiting on his reply.

Well been busy( I am retireing from Teaching next week after 35 years!!
talk about paperwork!!
as to the Raritan Book the last updates that i put into the books is the change from the orginal Slip eccentric valve gear to Stephenson valve gear. This was designed and build by the late Bill Scott, all drawings
were done on cad.Bill also converted his Raritan(the first one build)to this
stephenson valve gear ,it is reversable from the cab.
