Norris locomotives

Hi there all, Does anyone have an idea where I can get an outline drawing or museum photos (side top front back etc) of any of the Norris loco's ,preferably 4-2-0.

There are several drawings in John White's "A History of the American Locomotive: Its Development, 1830-1880". I'm not sure any have survived in a museum or any where else?

Perfect tburzio. Thankyou very much. Not looking to build a museum model, just something that has the general appearance in 3.5" gauge, so this will do.

they are providing plans designed by builder H.J. Coventry in late 60s as they advertise.

Did anybody of live steamers saw any of these loco finished? Are these plans easy for novice?

There is also Loco Profile #11 on The Norris Locomotives (1971) published by Profile Publications LTD in the UK. Nice little booklet of about 108 pages. There is a picture in the booklet of a replica Norris 4-2-0 running on the Tallulah Falls Railway in the Smoky Mountains of North Georgia. Wonder what happened to that loco?

The Norris replica Lafayette was commisioned in 1927 for the B&O centennary celebration, and continues to be owned by the B&O Railroad Museum. It occasionally runs (about once a year)

The Tallulah Falls gig was for the Disney movie "The Great Locomotive Chase."
