I'm looking for a special relay to do switching for my CNC driver board (Xylotec). I was told the relays are called Optical Oscillators. In some way the 5 volt computer voltage is switched through this type relay using light instead of voltage.
I would like to have the software turn on my spindle/coolant and also send inputs to the software for operator interface.
Optical Oscillator could be the wrong term.
Thanks for any ideas,
Jim
