Pic of shop & some projects
Here are a few shots of my shop and what I do inside. I know, I know, I need to organize but if I wait till then we will all be dead:lol:. The snow pic is from Dec. 2008.
Will post more latter.

DO YOU ACTUALLY WORK IN THERE? ITS TOOO CLEAN!
Big Dave, former Millwright, Electrician, Environmental conditioning, and back yard Fixxit guy. Now retired, persuing boats, trains, and broken relics.
We have enough youth, how about a fountain of Smart. My computer beat me at chess, but not kickboxing
It is not getting caught in the rain, its learning to dance in it. People saying good morning, should have to prove it.

Harold,
Thanks. No, it doesn't have a blade welder. What I have done in the past is buy a blade, or blades, on Ebay to size (120") or buy larger and take them to the blade shop to have them cut to size and welded ($10). I have since built a jig to silver solder the blades but haven't tried the process yet. Still need to learn more about it.
My next post will show what really keeps me busy in the shop. You may guess what it is from our visit early last year, or was it the year before? How time flies.
Jack.
By the way, I have solved the mystery of all time; why the days seem shorter the older you get:lol:.

Seems like only yesterday, but it has to be a year ago!JackF wrote:My next post will show what really keeps me busy in the shop. You may guess what it is from our visit early last year, or was it the year before? How time flies.
Looking forward to more pics. Still pondering those Buick brake drums?
Harold
Your wish is my command
See pics below. I bought Wilson Welding hubs to adapt the Buick drums to the ford spindles but I could have machined the ford hubs to fit (although they would have been weaker). Also, I edited my post above.
