Need stem extension for faucet made.

Post by Rob2049 »

Type of Faucet: Jado 822/003/144 Wide spread with Knob handles. ( 5 years old ).

http://www.jadousa.com/designers/techni ... 22/003/144

Above link goes Spec sheets & Installation Instructions.

Part needed: Is what I would call a “stem extension”. That goes from the ceramic valve or cartridge to the knob handle. Jado does not sell this part ( they call it part of the handle that is not suppose to come apart ).

Overall Length of part: 7/8 inch.

One end has a 20 spline female end and the other end is threaded.

Spline end: 9/32 inch ID ( measured off the male part ). Depth of spline: 5/16 inch.

Threaded end: 17/64 inch OD. Length of threads: 19/64 inch. Number of threads: 6.

Material type: Copper.

What might work is to find a part with the 20 spline female end and then cut the threads in on the other end.

Need 4 but depending on cost may purchase 8 for a backup.

Thanks & Take Care!
