1948 Steam Loco

Post by hkcarbine »

I hope this is the right forum. I thought some off of you might be interested in this loco. I live in Taiwan part of every year and my Brother inlaw showed this to me. It was acquired for an art show display, hence all the Chinese names. The loco came from a sugar plantation in the South of Taiwan, Tainan.

Roger,

Looks like a nice little engine.

Is it 3' gauge?

Model railroading is fun but the work expands proportionately to the track gauge.

As far as the gauge, I really don't know but it looks like the tracks would have been about 3' apart. I'm guessing that's how you tell the gauge.
