Oh look, I actually made something other than repairs... :D
Oddly enough it was fun.
In the third picture one can see the ball bearing that sits in the die 'anti-rotation' pocket. This allows the die to sit flat against the inner face no matter where the 'pocket' is in relation to the face.

Just got to use my die holder that I built in May of this year. Worked as advertised first time.
Where has this idea been? I surely could have use it many times in the last 50 years that I have been attempting to make chips.
Thanks for all your help, fellows.

The flutes are to insure a non-slip grip, and because I wanted to use the Jefferson Indexer for something besides a paperweight.
Most of these are knurled, I believe, but I just have a push knurling tool and it gives iffy results. The scissors knurler is on my to-do list.

I also acquired a set from Neil Butterfield.
Inexpensive, first class, and will meet my varied needs quite nicely.
